Fly Fishing Club Trip to Thrift / Eastern Cape

Get ready to cast your lines and reel in some unforgettable memories! We are thrilled to announce our upcoming club trip to Thrift, set to take place from April 24th to April 29th. This promises to be an incredible adventure filled with camaraderie, excellent fishing opportunities, and the chance to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature.

Here are the essential details for the trip:
Date – April 24th to April 29th
Departure – We will leave Pretoria on April 24th.
Return – We will return on April 29th.
Travel Time – The trip is approximately 10 hours, so please make necessary arrangements accordingly.
Venue—Thrift is an ideal location for float tubes, and it has some of the largest recorded trout in South Africa.
Accommodation – The accommodation is rustic and has no electricity. Hot water is available via a Donkey, and please bring your bedding and lights. No cooking utensils or cutlery are provided.
Meals – The trip is self-catered.
Cost – R550 per person per day, totalling R2750.00 per person for the duration of the trip.
